GFWC Georgia Day of Service
Every year, GFWC clubwomen across the nation unite for one powerful purpose — the GFWC Day of Service. As part of GFWC’s national Signature Project, GFWC Georgia members come together to take meaningful, coordinated action in the fight against Domestic and Sexual Violence Awareness and Prevention.
From coast to coast, women’s clubs raise awareness, educate their communities, volunteer with local organizations, donate supplies, and advocate for survivors. This collective effort sends a clear message: we see this crisis, we refuse to be silent, and we are committed to making a difference.
Whether through community outreach events, fundraisers, educational programs, or in-kind donations, GFWC Georgia clubs are on the front lines — because every act of service matters, and together, our impact is immeasurable. Please visit our Day of Service Page here.
President’s Special Projects: Wells for Hope of South Sudan and Operation Christmas Child
Wells for Hope — South Sudan
Clean water is life. GFWC Georgia is proud to support Wells for Hope, an organization bringing safe, sustainable water sources to the people of South Sudan. Through fundraising, donations, and awareness efforts, our members are helping to transform lives halfway around the world — one well at a time.
Operation Christmas Child
Every child deserves to know they are loved. Through Operation Christmas Child, GFWC Georgia clubwomen pack and donate shoeboxes filled with gifts, school supplies, and everyday essentials for children in need around the globe. It is a simple act of generosity that delivers joy, hope, and dignity to children who need it most.

Junior Director’s Special Project: Ahimsa House
Ahimsa House is a Georgia-based nonprofit that helps survivors of domestic violence find safety — together with their pets. Recognizing that the bond between a person and their animal can be a lifeline, Ahimsa House works to ensure that no one has to choose between their safety and the safety of a beloved companion.
GFWC Georgia Juniors are honored to champion this vital cause through volunteering, fundraising, promoting awareness, and providing in-kind and monetary support.

Our Commitment
For the next two years, GFWC Georgia members will work, volunteer, promote, fundraise, and give — in time, treasure, and talent — to these causes that reflect our deepest values: compassion, community, and the belief that every person deserves safety, dignity, and hope.
Together, we are GFWC Georgia — and together, we make a difference.
