District President: Ginger Readdick Lloyd (SEdistrict@GFWCGeorgia.org)
Symbol: Wild purple aster and the butterfly.
Special Project: My special project is the environment we live in, the amazing
south east with all its diverse natural resources and safeguarding them for future generations
The Purple Aster is a native wild flower of South Georgia and North Florida. It’s my Women’s Club symbol because it is a native pollinator, a helper to the community in many ways. The butterfly because like the butterfly we can all grow and change to be better versions of ourselves. By being better versions of ourselves we will have the resources to help others. A person is never more beautiful than when they are helping others,
